Cloud and Solutions Architect

Overview

The GCC is experiencing a significant wave of hyperscaler investment, sovereign cloud build-out and enterprise cloud migration. ION Talent places Cloud and Solutions Architects with clients across financial services, government, energy and technology sectors, covering AWS, Azure and GCP workloads.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud architecture design and migration strategy
• Produce landing zone designs, solution architectures and technical roadmaps
• Evaluate and select cloud technologies, platforms and vendors
• Guide application teams on cloud-native patterns and best practices
• Own architecture governance and technical risk management

Requirements

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Expert or GCP Professional equivalent
• 8+ years in infrastructure or cloud architecture roles
• Multi-cloud and hybrid cloud design experience
• Strong skills in IaC (Terraform, Pulumi or CDK)
• Experience with data centre migration or cloud transformation programmes
