Cybersecurity Architect

Overview

ION Talent is building a network of experienced cybersecurity architects for current and upcoming opportunities in Amsterdam, supporting clients undergoing cloud migration, data centre builds and digital transformation programmes. Both permanent and contract opportunities exist for professionals with deep architecture skills and vendor-neutral design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and own security architecture for enterprise and cloud environments
• Develop security standards, patterns and reference architectures
• Evaluate security tools and technologies against business requirements
• Engage with delivery teams to embed security by design
• Support third-party risk assessments and vendor security reviews

Requirements

• CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification
• 8+ years in security roles, minimum 4 in an architecture capacity
• Deep expertise across cloud security (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Strong understanding of zero-trust, SASE and micro-segmentation
• Experience in large-scale enterprise or public sector programmes preferred
