Data Centre Infrastructure Director

Overview

ION Talent is working with hyperscale operators, national data centre programmes and major colocation providers to source experienced infrastructure and data centre leaders. Demand is concentrated in the UAE, with sovereign and hyperscale investment extending across the broader GCC.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale data centre construction or expansion
• Manage critical facilities including power, cooling and physical security
• Own vendor, contractor and technical partner relationships
• Develop and manage capex budgets and operating cost models
• Lead and develop infrastructure operations and engineering teams

Requirements

• 10+ years in data centre infrastructure, critical facilities or hyperscale delivery
• Proven programme leadership for Tier III or Tier IV data centre projects
• Deep knowledge of power (UPS, generator, HV), cooling and fire suppression
• PMP, CDCP or equivalent certification preferred
• International or hyperscale operator experience strongly preferred
