Financial Controller

Overview

ION Talent is building a network of experienced Financial Controllers for current and upcoming opportunities in London. Clients are undergoing growth, transformation and consolidation, and candidates with Big Four backgrounds and in-house controller experience in complex, multi-entity environments are particularly sought after.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close, group consolidation and statutory reporting
• Own internal controls, governance and audit relationships
• Manage IFRS compliance and external audit processes
• Drive finance process improvement and automation
• Partner with FP&A and commercial teams on business performance

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, CPA or CMA qualified
• 8+ years in financial control, preferably with Big Four grounding
• Strong IFRS knowledge and multi-entity consolidation experience
• ERP proficiency (SAP, Oracle or similar)
• GCC experience preferred; MENA market knowledge an advantage
