Head of Risk and Compliance

Overview

ION Talent places Heads of Risk and Compliance for financial services, fintech, insurance and technology clients across the GCC. Candidates with DFSA, ADGM, SAMA or NCA regulatory framework experience are in strongest demand.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise risk management framework and compliance programme
• Manage regulatory relationships and filings across relevant jurisdictions
• Lead AML, KYC and financial crime compliance functions
• Produce board and audit committee risk reporting
• Build and develop risk and compliance teams

Requirements

• ICA, ACAMS or equivalent risk or compliance qualification
• 10+ years in risk or compliance, minimum 3 in a leadership role
• GCC regulatory framework knowledge (DFSA, ADGM, SAMA, NCA)
• Financial services or fintech sector experience preferred
