Oil and Gas Operations Director

Overview

ION Talent partners with NOCs, IOCs and oilfield services companies across Saudi Arabia to place experienced operations and engineering directors. Candidates with Arabian Gulf, deepwater or large-scale refinery experience are consistently in demand.

Responsibilities

• Oversee upstream, midstream or downstream operations and production targets
• Lead HSE performance, operational integrity and asset management
• Drive capital project execution and operational efficiency programmes
• Manage large multi-discipline engineering and operations teams
• Engage with government bodies, joint venture partners and regulators

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical or equivalent)
• 20+ years in oil and gas operations, minimum 5 at Director level
• Proven track record in a senior operations role with an NOC or major IOC
• GCC or MENA operational experience strongly preferred
