PMO Lead / Head of PMO

Overview

ION Talent is placing PMO Leads and Heads of PMO across technology, government and financial services clients in the GCC. Candidates who can establish PMO functions from scratch, implement PPM tooling and drive delivery governance are particularly sought after.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the enterprise or divisional PMO function
• Define project methodologies, standards, templates and governance frameworks
• Implement and manage PPM tools (ServiceNow, Planview, Jira or equivalent)
• Produce portfolio dashboards, resource reporting and executive status updates
• Coach project managers and build internal delivery capability

Requirements

• 8+ years in programme management or PMO leadership
• PMP, Prince2 or CAPM certified
• Experience establishing or maturing a PMO in a comparable organisation
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
